What is the Million Dollar Match Challenge?

What could you do with a million dollars?

A local resident and compassionate supporter of animals offered an unprecedented pledge to our community. The donor will match every donation earmarked toward debt relief and growth, dollar for dollar, up to $1 million. This campaign - dubbed Million Dollar Match - allowed us to purchase our current shelter on East Valley Parkway so we have a permanent home to offer as a haven for our community's homeless animals.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Million Dollar Match Challenge. We are thrilled to share with you that we paid off our mortgage at the end of July 2010! More than 1,100 donors rose to the challenge. All investments were doubled, dollar for dollar, and now - with your help - we have a home to call our own.

On behalf of the thousands of homeless animals who will arrive at our doorstep in the coming years, thank you for helping to give them a second chance.
