**Due to space restrictions, we do not accept owner-surrendered animals on a walk-in basis. Please call us during regular operating hours, 10 am - 6pm, to check our current status and be placed on our waiting list if applicable.
The Animal Control Center at the Escondido Humane Society collects pre-determined fees at the below rates on behalf of the cities of Escondido, San Marcos, and Poway. Please note that the Escondido Humane Society does not set the fee structure. Fees are reimbursed to the appropriate city. The organization makes no profit from your fees.
