Interview with the Director of Volunteer Services

Commit to volunteering for a duration of six months

Commit to scheduled volunteer times based on your schedule
and our needs

Attend training for each job assigned

Follow all training protocols

Follow volunteer policies, procedures and code of ethics

Purchase a volunteer t-shirt, and wear it when volunteering (or wear a volunteer badge)

Bob Miller, a friendly face in the Adoption Center at the Escondido Humane Society, follows up on our recent adoptions. Bob is one of the 250 active volunteers at the Escondido Humane Society.

You must be 13 years or older to volunteer at EHS. If you are between the ages of 13 and 16, you must be accompanied by a parent at all times (orientation, training, volunteering). If you are 16 years or older, you can usually volunteer at our center without parental supervision.
