Join us for Valentine's Day Pet Portraits!
Love will be in the air for both the furry and human kind at our Valentine's Day Pet Portraits on Feb. 4.
You are cordially invited to stop by EHS to have your pets' photos taken in front of a festive backdrop, just in time to create Valentine's Day cards. Furry Valentines are, after all, the purrfect gift for the animal lovers in your life!
For a $10 donation to EHS, you will receive a keepsake 4x6 photo; for an additional $10, you can get a CD with the digital files.

Join us for a Kitten Baby Shower and Fosterpalooza!
With kitten season in full swing, the Escondido Humane Society is overflowing with both young felines and canines. To help support their care, we’re having a Kitten Baby Shower and Fosterpalooza to welcome our newest arrivals and shower them with gifts. Visitors are asked to please bring something from our Wish List, which can be found HERE, or on our online gift registry.
In conjunction with the Kitten Baby Shower, we will be having a Fosterpalooza, which will include an informative presentation from our foster care coordinators and a meet-and-greet with current foster animals and parents. If you’ve been wondering if foster care is for you, this presentation is a must! There is no charge to attend, and light refreshments will be served.

Calling all EHS alums! Our second annual Alumni Reunion is April 28
We are delighted to cordially invite all former animal residents and their families back to the shelter for an Alumni Reunion and Open House from 10 a.m. t0 2 p.m. on April 28.
Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you have adopted from EHS in the past, are looking to adopt, or are simply a supporter of our cause. All alumni who plan to attend must R.S.V.P. by April 14 by calling (760) 888-2235 or e-mailing media@escondidohumanesociety.org.
This inaugural reunion will feature waived adoption fees for adult dogs and cats if you bring an item from our Wish List to donate, food, games for people and pets, shelter tours, contests and the opportunity to participate in a group photo that will hang in the hallways at EHS. All EHS alumni are welcome. Dogs must be well-behaved, leashed at all times and kept under control; cats and bunnies must be in carriers.
Alumni bandanas and T-shirts will be available for purchase at the event. All proceeds will benefit the animals who are still waiting to become alumni of EHS.
