On the search page click on any animal picture to obtain more detailed information about the animal.

Click on the Breed Request link if you would like an e-mail when the breed of animal you are looking for becomes available for adoption.
Please Note: You will only be notified if the animal description closely matches your request. Some generic mixed breeds (shepard mix, terrier mix, spaniel mix) will not generate an e-mail. We recommend checking our web site or visiting our facility for the broadest search for your new pet.

The Escondido Humane Society updates the list of adoptable animals once per hour at approximately quarter after the hour.
