NEW LEADERSHIP AT THE
ESCONDIDO HUMANE SOCIETY
Board of Directors Elect New Officers
ESCONDIDO,
CA-July 31, 2002--- Ringing in a new fiscal year, the Escondido Humane
Society has announced new leadership for their Board of Directors. Newly elected board chairman, Wayne Templin, a leading attorney in North County, kicked off his
one year term at the society’s July 9 groundbreaking ceremony.
Wayne
says, “Having served on the humane society board for over four years now, I am
honored to assume the position of chairman of the board during such an exciting
time for the society. With the
assistance of our dedicated and generous board and community volunteers, the
society is well on its way to improving animal welfare in our community and
becoming a model humane society.”
Elected
as vice chairman of the board is Dr. Gary Gallerstein,
DVM of Acacia Animal Hospital in Escondido. Secretary of the board is Dr. David
Zanders, DVM of West Bernardo Veterinary
Hospital. Treasurer of the board is
Chris Renko, senior vice president of Palomar
Community Bank.
