10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Monday through Sunday

Please note that we stop all adoption interactions at 4:15 p.m. to allow time to complete the process. Please allow 45 to 90 minutes for the adoption process. Remember, it takes time to meet your match!

Animal Control Center

10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Monday through Sunday

In case of animal-related emergency, officers are available on-call 24/7 and may be reached by calling (760) 888-2275, Option 1.

Directions from Valley Parkway

If you are traveling East on East Valley Parkway: Turn left at Beven Drive (just before the Mayflower Dog Park) and follow the road around to the Escondido Humane Society.

If you are traveling West on East Valley Parkway: Turn right at Beven Drive (just before the Mayflower Dog Park) and follow the road around to the Escondido Humane Society.

We are located directly behind the Mayflower Dog Park, slightly behind East Valley Parkway. The nearest crossstreet to our center is the light of East Valley Parkway and Beven Drive - turn onto Beven, and you’ll see us to the right. We are beside the new Eureka Springs residential area.
