Our Search for a
Million-Dollar Donor for Our Center
The Escondido Humane Society has architects drawings and building plans for a new public meeting room to serve as a site for, but not limited to:
- Public Meetings
- Teaching and Education
- A Polling Place
- Training of dogs and owners in animal behavior
- Dog and Cat Club meetings and
- All breed and obedience trials
- Teaching space for the Regional Occupational Program (ROP) held by
the Escondido Adult Education Program to train veterinary assistants
- Lecture and training for Pet Sitters, International-San Diego
Chapter and,
to serve as a meeting place for The Animal Center & Humane Society public
functions, like the Dinner of Champions.
Part of the million dollars would be utilized for building and furnishing
the public meeting room. The remainder would be placed in the Foundation
where the earnings would fund our entire Education Program each year.
If you would like to make a lasting contribution to a more compassionate
world, this is a true investment opportunity. Our educational efforts, combined
with social service agencies, can help reverse the tide of violence in our
society. Your generosity can be remembered and commemorated in any way you
might choose including renaming the shelter on your behalf. Your anonymity,
