The first step to volunteering is to fill out a volunteer profile (link below) and fax it to (760) 888-2222. Our Volunteer Department will contact you after reviewing your profile. The next step is to attend an orientation. All prospective volunteers must contact our Volunteer Department at (760) 888-2270 or
[email protected] 10 days prior to orientation to sign up. At the orientation, you will receive a brief history of the shelter, learn about volunteering policies and procedures, hear about the many ways you can volunteer, and take a tour of our shelter.
