Critter Camp
Hey kids! Do you enjoy animals from around the world? If so, this camp is for you! The Escondido Humane Society’s trained educational staff will have many, many different animals for you to see, hold, play with and feed. Some of the animals are familiar, such as puppies, kittens and bunnies, but others are more exotic, such as snakes, lizards and insects. Past camps have offered wild animals such as monkeys, alligators and hedgehogs.
Critter Camp will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. July 7-11 at the Escondido Humane Society, 3450 E. Valley Parkway. Cost is $65 for one week. All campers must be ages 6 through 12. Registration is now open. Call Ina Shookhoff, Director of Education, at (760) 888-2261 to enroll.
