A FRAMED PHOTO OF SANTA AND YOUR PET

To Benefit the Escondido Humane Society

SAN DIEGO, CA—November 18, 2002- Pictures with Santa aren’t just for kids anymore, the Escondido Humane Society is getting your pets in on the holiday fun. During the first three weekends in December, you and your pet can take a picture with Santa at two PETsMART locations. (In Vista on University Dr. and San Diego on Murphy Canyon Rd.) PETsMART will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Escondido Humane Society.

“Bring your cat, your dog, your lizard, whoever,” says Mary Lee Poremba, Director of Volunteer Services who organizes the yearly event. “If your cat or dog is a good sport, we’ll also have holiday pet costumes available. You can put them in reindeer antlers, Santa hats or holiday print bow ties!”

Each picture package costs $9.95 and includes two Polaroids; one in a holiday paperboard frame and the other in a holiday ornament. Both make great stocking stuffers. Proceeds will go toward Escondido Humane Society’s adoption and education programs.
