EHS Provides Animal Control Services for Escondido and San Marcos.

These services include dog licensing, housing stray animals and reuniting lost animals with their owners. Inquiries for areas outside the cities of San Marcos and Escondido should go the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services at (619) 236-4250.

You can download a Dog License Application here to mail in to EHS if you live in the cities of San Marcos or Escondido.

To reach the animal control department, please call EHS at (760) 888-BARK (2275). If you are looking for a lost dog, please come to the facility as you are the only one who can identify your dog.

You can support The Escondido Humane Society simply by shopping at Albertsons, Ralphs, Food 4 Less and Sav-on using your preferred shopper card after it has been linked to the Escondido Humane Society. Up to 4% of your shopping dollars will then be automatically donated to EHS.
