Junior Troop 4357 Lends a Hand to EHS
This is Junior Troop 4357 of the Hidden Glen Service Unit in Escondido. Three girls from this troop collected aluminum cans for three months (Aug Oct) in 2002 to raise money to buy collars and leashes for the animals in our shelter. At the time, EHS' new building was not ready, but they decided to keep their donation until we opened up keeping it in their own community! The girls bought 15 collars and 15 leashes and handed them over to Phil Morgan at the Grand Opening.
Thanks to Emily Aragon, Victoria Howse and Rachel Peters for their community service work to help the animal shelter and earn their Bronze Award as Junior Girl Scouts. Chantell Weber, Araceli Saen, and Cheryl McCann of the troop also earned their Bronze Award doing community service projects.
