The Escondido Humane Society is a completely independent nonprofit organization and does not receive funding from the County of San Diego or any national organization.

While we do receive money from various contracts, we rely mainly on Donations, Adoption Fees and revenue from the Shelter Thrift Store for our support and continued service to the community.
