Red
Hello, my name is Red. I came to the shelter as a stray. I was found in a trash can. I’m a real sweet guy and I can be handled. I would like a home where I can have a lot of room to roam and perhaps some hens to play with. My animal ID# is A071229. If you are interested in adopting me please ask the adoption staff!!

Zorro and Bugsy were found together in a park here in Escondido, but they can be adopted separately. They need to find a home that has knowledge of Iguana care and handling. They are going to need a large caged area and they are on a special diet. If you are interested in adopting Zorro or Bugsy please inquire with the adoptions staff. Their animal ID numbers are A073898 and A073899.

Dixie
H i, my name is Dixie. I am a 1-½ year old spayed female Pit Bull mix. I am such a sweet heart. I would do well in with an active family with older children. I have a lot of energy and I love to run and play but I also can be very mellow and take long naps. I have worked on my obedience training since I have been at the shelter and I walk very well on leash and I sit on command. I need to have a lot of chew toys because that is one of my favorite things to do. One of my favorite things to do is hang out in the volunteer lounge. I get lots of attention there. I’m looking forward to my new loving home! ! |

Cinder
Hi, my name is Cinder. I am an 8-½ year-old spayed female Domestic Shorthair. I came to the shelter originally as an owner surrender from a household with 19 cats. I was adopted and then surrendered by my owner again because I was too shy. I am a very sweet girl but would do best in a quiet household with not a lot of activity going on. I would also do better in a household with no young children or dogs. I love to cuddle and get attention once I get to know you. I also have a skin condition so I would like an owner willing to take me to the vet when necessary. I need someone that can give me a lot of time to adjust so my new owner must have patience. I’m looking forward to my new loving home!
