Volunteer Opportunities

A complete description of volunteer opportunities and requirements for volunteering is available.

The first step to volunteering is to attend a volunteer orientation. This meeting is informational and not a commitment from you to volunteer. At the orientation you will receive a brief history of the shelter, learn about volunteering policies and procedures, hear about the many ways you can volunteer, and take a tour of the shelter. The following dates remain for 2005 orientation sessions (you must call Micki Hickox to register):
